Teaching

In addition to workshops taught at writers’ conferences and for small writers’ groups, I’m an instructor in the UCLA Extension Writers’ Program, with a focus on Creative Nonfiction (personal essay and memoir).

Enrollment is now open for my Spring courses: Personal Essay I, Personal Essay II, and a two-weekend Memoir (Zoom-based/live) workshop.

Note that all of my courses, with the exception of the Memoir workshop, are taught online and are asynchronous (not in real time).
